Liverpool winger Ryan Babel could still make a £9million switch to Birmingham City according to the Dutchman's agent.
St Andrews' boss Alex McLeish is believed to have seen a £9 million bid rejected by Liverpool earlier this month.
However, it is thought it was 23-year-old Babel, and not Liverpool, who rejected Birmingham's advances and the Dutchman may now be open to a move after a fresh fall-out with Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez.
Babel's agent, Winnie Haatrecht, has now confirmed the player is Birmingham's offer.
He said: "Birmingham is still a possibility, it would be simpler for Ryan to continue in the Premier League, a competition he knows well. We're actually studying an offer."
