Ashley Young has sidelined discussions over his future until after England’s Euro 2012 qualifier with Switzerland at Wembley on Saturday.
The winger has only 12 months remaining of his Aston Villa contract and is being strongly linked with a move to either Manchester United or Liverpool.
Young said: 'I have said I'll speak to the manager [Gerard Houllier] and chairman [Randy Lerner] at the end of the season.
'I've got to concentrate on this game and then see what happens regarding talking to them.'
Young, who has refused to sign an improved or extended contract with Villa, is hoping to build on his impressive performances for his country against Denmark, Wales and Ghana.
'I feel, with the last two games I've started, I've done really well,' he added.
'I think I'm giving the manager a lot more to think about with my performances.'
The Villa wide man scored seven goals and made nine assists in 37 Premier League appearances last season.
