Douglas Dick was a member of the Liverpool team during the club's first-ever season in the Football League (1893-94).
He figured in 10 games as the club won their first League honour - the Second Division championship trophy - at the first time of asking.
Dick scored in his second appearance (a 5-1 thrashing of Newcastle United at Anfield on November 4, 1893) and his only other goal came against Crewe also at Anfield towards the end of the season.
