Percy was a full-back who played for Liverpool for three seasons at the end of the first decade of the 20th Century.
He made 24 consecutive First Division appearances and 33 in all during the 1906-07 season and a further 27 the following season, when he scored his only league goal for the club in a home match against Sheffield United at the end of December 1907.
Percy was picked only 16 times for league and cup fixtures in 1908-09 in what turned out to be his last season at Anfield. He also played in eight FA cup-ties for Liverpool and gave his team an early lead in a third round tie at Newcastle in February 1908 but the home team rallied in the second-half and eventually ran out 3-1 winners.
