Roy Hodgson was appointed the new manager of Liverpool FC on 1 July, 2010.
The 62-year-old former Fulham, Inter Milan and Switzerland manager agreed terms with the club on a three-year contract and became the 18th manager in our history.
Hodgson joined us from Fulham, where he guided the Cottagers to the Europa League final in May and was voted Manager of the Year by the League Managers' Association.
He exclusively told Liverpoolfc.tv: "This is the biggest job in club football and I'm honoured to be taking on the role of manager of Britain's most successful football club. I look forward to meeting the players and the supporters and getting down to work at Melwood."
