Fabio Aurelio believes the support of the Kop could be the inspiration to get Liverpool back to winning ways.
After three successive away games Rafael Benitez's men return to home soil for Tuesday's Champions League meeting with Lyon, and the Brazilian insists there is no better way to bounce back to form than in front of the Anfield faithful.
"It was disappointing to lose at Sunderland but we have another game straight away and we can't wait to try to put things right," Aurelio told Liverpoolfc.tv.
"We have two important games coming up and we know what we need to do to bounce back.
"We will work hard and we know we will have the support of our own fans. That will be a big help to us because they are always behind us and we will try to do our best for them.
"The atmosphere is always fantastic at Anfield on a Champions League night and we want to bounce back to winning ways as soon as possible."
Saturday's defeat at Sunderland featured a bizarre winner from Darren Bent when his shot took a deflection off an inflatable ball thrown from the crowd on its way into the net.
"It wasn't the result we wanted it to be but it was frustrating to lose to a goal like that," the Reds No.12 added.
"You can see on the TV that Pepe would have saved that if the other ball hadn't been in the way. I have never seen anything quite like that in my career.
"Always it's disappointing to lose but you can see the other teams losing points as well. We still have a lot of confidence and it's a long race and we have a lot of important games ahead."
