Skysports.com understands Bradford City have snapped up Liverpool full-back Robbie Threlfall on an initial month-long loan.
Threlfall has been in fine form for Liverpool's reserve side this season and has now secured the chance to build up his first-team experience at Bradford.
The 21-year-old had a stint at Northampton Town at the start of the campaign and will now sample League Two football for the second time this season.
New Bantams boss Peter Taylor confirmed he has been looking to bring in loan signings after taking charge at Valley Parade last week.
"I have been around a little bit, so I've got some players in mind," Taylor told the Telegraph & Argus. "Looking at us, we do need some.
"We might have a chance of one of them before the next game."
Taylor's first match ended in a 2-0 defeat at Accrington Stanley on Saturday and Threlfall is likely to go straight into the squad for Tuesday's trip to leaders Rochdale.
