Pajtim Kasami has called on Fulham to step up their game for Saturday's clash with Liverpool as he looks to make a mark on Merseyside.
The Swiss starlet is gearing up for his return to Anfield having spent eight months there as a youngster before a problem with his paperwork scuppered any potential deal with the Reds.
The 21-year-old has since gone on to play for Palermo and Luzern before establishing himself in the Whites' first team this season with a series of fine performances.
Kasami is now looking to show Liverpool what they missed out on by helping Fulham end a run of three straight league defeats at Anfield.
The forward is expecting a difficult afternoon in Liverpool but claims the second-half performance against Manchester United last week should give the players some self belief.
"Liverpool is a very important game now but they have started the season well, so it is going to be very difficult," Kasami said.
"We need to step up and play as a team. We can take confidence from the second-half performance against Manchester United."
Speaking about his time on trial with Liverpool, Kasami added: "It went well but I had some problems with my documents because I was very young.
"I have fond memories of my time up there. I met a lot of good people. I played two friendlies for the reserves, with players like Steven Gerrard, Fernando Torres and Xabi Alonso."
