QPR midfielder Stephane Mbia says that he would be open to a move to Liverpool this summer.
The Cameroonian ace has emerged as a shock target for the Reds in recent months after impressing while on loan at Sevilla - whom he netted a vital goal for to book a spot in the Europa League Final last Thursday - since joining them following the Super Hoops' relegation woes last year.
QPR are rumoured to be willing to cut him loose this summer even if they regain Premier League status, which has alerted a host of clubs.
Liverpool are thought to see him as a player that could add depth and quality to their squad after booking top level European football for 2014-15, and Mbia himself says that he would love the opportunity to play at Anfield:
"Playing in the Champions League, that's my goal," he is quoted by Goal.
"Liverpool? For me, it is a pride. Liverpool are a great team that will play the Champions League."
Although Champions League football is clearly the enforcer's desire, he also says that a switch to Everton - another mooted destination - interests him:
"Everton is also a great team, but I can not say what will happen in the future."
