AC Milan and Juventus have joined the hunt to sign Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke in the summer.

The 23-year-old Belgian international has again hit form in the past month after suffering a mid-season slump, and his performances have again garnered attention around Europe.

The Daily Mirror report that the two Serie A sides will have to compete with Arsenal and Liverpool as well, in order to sign the towering striker.

The Belgian striker signed a contract extension last summer after initially putting in a transfer request, so a large sum may be required to tempt Aston Villa to accept.

Benteke has netted 10 goals in 26 appearances for Aston Villa in the Premier League this campaign.
