InsideFutbol: Milan ready to sell starlet

AC Milan are prepared to allow forward Stephan El Shaarawy to depart in January for the right price.

El Shaarawy has been linked with Premier League giants Liverpool of late and the Reds may be alerted by Milan's willingness to cash in on the Italy international.

According to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport, the Rossoneri are willing to listen to generous offers.

Last season El Shaarawy scored 16 goals in 37 Serie A games as Milan surged up the table to finish third and qualify for the Champions League.

El Shaarawy will be desperate to clock up regular playing time for the remainder of the season with the 2014 World Cup on the horizon.

The former Genoa man has so far won 10 caps for Italy, scoring once.
