Liverpool have not secured the services of Milan Jovanovic for next season, according to the Standard Liege striker's agent.
Sportsmail reported last month how Serbian Jovanovic had given his word on a move to Anfield and negotiations on a pre-contract agreement for the 28-year-old to join them in the summer ahead of signing a three-and-a-half-year deal were at an advanced stage.
But agent Zoran Stojadinovic insists reports that the deal is done are jumping the gun.
He said: "There are many possibilities. The situation will be resolved soon, but he has not signed for any club as yet.
"There is plenty of interest from Spain, but there are also a number of clubs from across Europe that remain keen."
