Liverpool have been given the green light to sign Martin Montoya with the Barcelona star ready to accept a move away.

Montoya has been chased by Liverpool in the last three transfer windows, with Brendan Rodgers known to be a huge fan.

He has been keen to stay at Barca and fight for his place, especially with Dani Alves set to leave, but reports now say he is looking at a move away.

Montoya will apparently listen to whatever Liverpool put on the table and could accept a move if it ticks all the right boxes.
