Metro: Reds still hopeful over stopper

Reports suggest that Liverpool are hoping to sign goalkeeper Neto from Fiorentina.

It is believed that Liverpool will have to pay Fiorentina £2 million to secure the January signing of Neto, with Juventus hoping to sign the keeper in the summer when his contract expires.

Neto has made it clear that he won't be extending his stay at Fiorentina beyond the summer and the Italian club would welcome any money for him this month.
