Brendan Rodgers has confirmed Liverpool have held talks with a number of players over potential moves to Anfield.
The Reds manager is desperate to add to his squad this month, with the club locked in a battle for a top four place.
And as Rodgers prepares to meet with Liverpool's owner to discuss finalising transfers, he admits that talks have already been held over possible deals.
"We've been working on a number of possibilities that could strengthen the team and we have to wait and see how that goes in the next few weeks," he said.
"The owners of the club have been great and if something is there to be done to improve us then we will do it. We are assessing a whole raft of players and it's a case of seeing if they are available."
Liverpool are thought to have around £25million to spend this month, with their priority being signing a winger and a left-back.
