Manchester United's Nani is a doubt for this weekend's FA Cup tie with Liverpool, although defender Phil Jones could be in line for a swift return to the starting XI despite damaging his ankle against Arsenal, according to various reports.
The duo were both forced off during Sunday's 2-1 victory at the Emirates, leading to concerns that the pair would be unavailable for the trip to Anfield.
According to the Daily Mail, Nani, who limped off following a tackle with Gunners defender Laurent Koscielny, is set to be out for up to a couple of weeks with a foot injury and will have further scans to confirm the problem.
The attacker left north London on the team bus with his foot in a protective boot, and the Red Devils will likely to have to wait until the swelling subsides until a proper diagnosis can be made.
Jones however, could be fit for the clash on Merseyside on Saturday according to The Times, with his apparent ankle injury far less problematic than first thought. The defender was understood to have ligament damage to the area after being stretchered off just 17 minutes into last weekend's game.
The former Blackburn Rovers man though was apparently walking around pain-free after the game, and should be ready for next week's match with Stoke City if not the crunch clash with Liverpool.
Fellow defender Rio Ferdinand is also a doubt for the game at Anfield after a recurrence of his back injury, although Wayne Rooney is expected to shrug off a minor ankle injury to feature.
