Young midfielder Sergio Canales could be on his way out of Real Madrid at the end of the season as Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool have all expressed an interest in the 20-year-old, AS reports.
The Spain under-21 star revealed on Tuesday that he's not thinking about a transfer at the moment and that he's determined to succeed at Madrid, but it remains to be seen whether he will be able to resist the temptation of joining any of the aforementioned clubs.
Canales joined Madrid from Racing Santander in the summer of 2010, but the attacking midfielder has so far struggled to secure regular first team action because of stiff competition from players such as Mesut Oezil and Kaka.
Arsenal are in the market for a new midfielder because of the ongoing uncertainty about the future of Cesc Fabregas, and manager Arsene Wenger considers Canales to be the perfect replacement in case Fabregas indeed leaves the club.
Liverpool and Chelsea are both looking to add some fresh blood as well, and see Canales as a useful addition to their squad in the long term.
