Moroccan winger Nabil El Zhar wants a move away from Liverpool.
The 23-year-old is frustrated at the lack of first-team football at Anfield and is not convinced he will be given a chance to impress new Reds boss Roy Hodgson.
El Zhar has made just 32 appearances for the club since joining from St Etienne in 2006 and the Morocco international revealed that there are a number of clubs vying for his signature.
"I want to leave Liverpool," he told the Moroccan media. "I do not play often enough.
"I'm 23 and I cannot afford to only play a few bits of games.
"There are several European clubs interested and I will not close any doors."
Argentinian left-back Emiliano Insua also looks close to the Anfield exit door after holding talks with Fiorentina over a £5million move.
Hodgson confirmed the long-standing rumour that the Argentina full-back could be headed to Italy, saying talks between player and club were in motion before his appointment.
Although Hodgson has admitted to being impressed with the 21-year-old, he is unsure as to where the former Boca Juniors player's future lies.
"I saw him play in the last three days and I like him both as a player and on a personal level," said Hodgson.
"However, talks with Fiorentina started before I got here, so I don't know how advanced they are.
"I cannot say if Insua will stay at Liverpool or not.
"I'll have to discuss that with the club."
The agent of former Wigan utility player Paul Scharner, meanwhile, has described a possible move to Liverpool for his client as "a dream."
Reds boss Roy Hodgson is thought to be an admirer of the versatile 30-year-old, who left Wigan after his contract expired at the end of last season.
Hodgson tried to sign the Austrian on three occasions when manager of Fulham, but failed in each attempt.
Scharner's agent Valentin Hobel is waiting to see if Liverpool firm up any interest and said: "Roy Hodgson and Paul Scharner - this is a special relationship.
"Hodgson thinks that Paul's strengths in midfield are better than his attributes in central defence.
"Liverpool would be a dream, of course, but we are in contact with several clubs. Because he is a free transfer, he can choose."
