TalkSport: Nolito agent confirms English interest

Nolito's agent has confirmed that several Premier League clubs have expressed an interest in the Benfica striker.

The 25-year-old only joined Benfica from Barcelona last summer but is already being linked with a move away, having taken the Portuguese League by storm this season.

Liverpool and Newcastle have both been linked with moves for Nolito, who enhanced his growing reputation at the weekend with two goals in the 4-1 win over Maritimo, and his agent Oscar Font admits contact has been made with clubs in England.

Font said: "Several intermediaries have called me to ask about the situation of the player and to say there are clubs interested, among them English. But there is nothing more concrete. The player is very happy in Lisbon and his target is to be a success here."
