Michael Williams joined the Reds at U14 level from Wrexham and is a regular member of the U21 squad.
A Wales U17 international, Michael, known as 'Jordan' by his teammates and coaches, can play either central midfield or centre-back.
Williams is an extremely composed player and has a fine passing range. In both his defensive and midfield roles, he is an asset to his side, particularly when he puts into practice his excellent reading of the game.
And that was certainly evident when the young man made his first-team debut in September 2014, taking to the field as a substitute in the Reds' Capital One Cup clash against Middlesbrough.
To further build up experience, Williams joined Notts County on a short-term loan in March 2015 and played eight full games.
Ahead of the 2015-16 campaign, he then sealed a youth loan switch to Swindon Town for the full season.
